Bohning Seal-Tite – All-Weather Silicone Bowstring Wax

Seal-Tite is Bohning’s silicone string wax for high-tensile bowstrings and cables on compound and recurve bows. The friction of rubbing it in warms it to a sticky state that binds the fibres and limits separation between strands, then it cools to a dry, non-tacky finish. Rain, cold and Australian summer heat will not turn it brittle, frozen or gummy.

On the string

• Keeps water out: seals moisture away from the fibres in wet weather
• Cuts friction: less wear where strings and cables run over slides, wheels and cams
• Servings: safe on them, and it limits string movement inside served sections
• Nock indexing: a little on the nock shank lets a nock turn smoothly for adjustment
