Tex-Tite is the original Bohning bowstring wax, a natural-based, vegan and odourless formula with a tacky, non-greasy feel. It conditions natural and synthetic strings on recurves, longbows and compounds, keeping them from drying out and slowing the fraying that shortens a string’s life.

Applying it
- Rub the wax along the string until the coat is even.
- Work it into the fibres with your fingers or a cloth.
- Top it up when needed, more often in dry or humid weather.
