Solkarra Atlas Black bare shafts are gloss black premium carbon, decorated in gold like a chart: contour lines along the shaft, a compass rose up front and a thin ring near the back, behind which the shaft stays plain black where the feathers go. Gold lettering gives the Solkarra name, spine and straightness. You get twelve shafts with nothing fitted, for recurve, longbow and horsebow archers who make their own arrows.

Choosing a spine
Of the five spines, the 800 end suits low draw weights and short arrows, and the 400 end suits strong bows and long draws. If you cannot decide, put a note on your order and we will recommend one to suit your bow.
Cut or full length
Shafts come at 32 inches. Trim and square them at home, or give us the finished length when you order and we do the cutting. For arrows ready to shoot, the Atlas Black fletched arrows put this shaft into complete arrows built to order. The Atlas Slate bare shafts are the deep blue version with a black rear.
