This is Fairweather’s Barebow tab in its full Pro setup: 3 pieces of kangaroo leather plus an extra suede backing, so you can build the layers up the way you like. Kangaroo is strong and durable yet soft, and it passes a precise feel of the string through to your fingers without costing comfort.
The tab is built for three-under barebow shooting. Set the nylon plates at the height you want against your hand, flush with the top, higher or lower, and once it is fixed there are no moving parts, so the tab cannot twist or shift between shots.
Marking the plate
Fixed marks are replaced by tapes you stick on. Two carry pre-printed scales and the rest are blank for marks of your own, and all of them stand up to water and heat. Filing or etching grooves into the plate works too.
