A self-adhesive calf hair rest from Bearpaw, for the shelf (saddle) or the arrow plate of a traditional bow. The hair sits on calf leather backed with a strong adhesive film, and lets the arrow slide off cleanly and quickly on release.

Fitting
Mark the shape with the stencil and cut with the direction the hair grows. Each rest is real fur, so the colour can differ a lot from piece to piece.
