Bearpaw’s Young Hero riser is the handle for a 54″ takedown recurve sized for kids and young adults. Add Young Hero limbs to finish the bow. The handle is laminated from dark, smoky Actionwood and hard maple, with padouk stripes.
A young archer can shoot off the shelf or fit a raised arrow rest. Threaded inserts take a sight, bow quiver, stabiliser and plunger button, and the riser works with any high-performance string, so the bow can be fitted out further as the archer’s technique develops.
